Jordan Laird (JLaird)

Jordan Laird is a loudmouth with a mic and a mission: to make noise for the Cleveland music scene (and maybe get paid for it someday).

She found her footing (and her voice) at Baldwin Wallace University, where she fell hard for college radio and event planning at 88.3FM The Sting. In 2019, a year post-grad and still itching to host the specialty show that never was, she teamed up with lifelong friend Jurbz to launch LoCLE Grown, a podcast-turned-local-staple that shines a light on rising artists and the stories behind the sounds.

Now five years deep, Jordan runs the back end and the mic: producing each episode, managing partnerships, and keeping the wheels turning and the vibes up.

When she's not doing LG things, you’ll likely find her Door Dashing Chinese food, buried in blankets, or smushing the face of her itty-bitty-pitty, Stevie.

Jordan Urban (Jurbz)

Jordan Urban AKA Jurbz skipped the college thing and still got a job in her field! Growing up in a family full of musicians and close roots to country music, she picked up an interest in the music scene from the very beginning. Over the years, she learned how to play some instruments, tried out a few different sports and hobbies, but quickly realized that she spent more of her time writing and covering songs than she ever did trying to perfect another craft. When Urban and Laird met as next door neighbors, they found that not only did they share the same name, they also shared the same love of playing music.

Urban graduated from Medina High School in 2017 and went straight into the workforce. After managing a couple pizza shops and dealing with retail-therapy Karen’s, she was ready to do something she truly was passionate about.
