At the end of this week, we are manifesting that a crowd of people will be at crobar with us for our first-ever LG Live, where over 30 musical performances, 4 visual artists and lots of activities will be occurring throughout the day from 1pm on. This fundraiser has been one of the most ambitious projects we've ever done, and this month's blog post is dedicated to the wonderful people and businesses that are supporting the fundraiser and in turn LoCLE Grown's success.
This is all laid out on our Meet our Partners page of our website, but here are more details about each business and where to find them.
crobar
3244 Saint Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44114
First, our biggest thank you goes to our friends at crobar, who took a risk with us by allowing crobar to be the first location for this insanely ambitious event. We came to Gerad with this crazy idea, and he has let us run with it full speed ahead and provided resources to help us along the way such as flyer design (from @thejamesquarles), late night DJ sets, sound engineers, and our food vendor.
crobar is a safehaven for many diverse audiences in Cleveland and one of the very few places that will have such a wide variety of nationally and internationally touring artists as well as regional and local acts. While electronic music is their bread and butter, crobar does not shy away from diverting from the path to showcase another genre. You can learn more about Gerad and crobar on our bonus episode of Season 2, Live from crobar.
Amber Patrick Photography // aterrormusical photography
Amber Patrick is an incredible photographer who has put a huge focus on shooting live music for years, but more recently has become the house photographer for Blossom Music Center and House of Blues Cleveland in addition to shooting for one off shows in the NEO region and beyond. Her photos really speak for themselves, she is truly able to capture the essence of not only what the artist is trying to convey with their body while they sing, but also how the fan reacts to the performance. She has generously donated a one-hour photoshoot for a raffle basket and you will also see her at LG Live floating around taking photos!
Cleveland Ketchup
We met Lisa from Cleveland Ketchup at the Apostle Jones x Saucy Brew Works Superstar Disaster show just a month or two ago and really hit it off over our shared love of local music. Cleveland Ketchup is a family-owned business that was established in 2018 and now sells into retail stores across the country (they ship, too!). When we told Lisa that we were planning an event that would raise funds for our podcast that centers around Cleveland music, she jumped on the opportunity to donate a raffle basket filled with their signature sauces. You can enter for a chance to win this raffle basket on Saturday!
Cleveland Vibes
Cleveland Vibes has been around for quite a few years now. What started as one new resident living in Cleveland posting about the architecture on Instagram has now turned into a multi-platform brand that lets Cleveland's personality shine to all of the world. We linked up with the CLE Vibes team last summer to learn more about them, and you can listen to our episode from this chat here. As they grow bigger and bigger, they are a great resource for people inside and outside of Cleveland to know what is going on in this beautiful city.
1768 E 25th St Cleveland, Ohio 44114
As whiskey girls ourselves, we needed to reach out to Cleveland Whiskey to see if they'd be willing to donate a basket or some items to the event. They were MORE than excited to do so, as the people behind the brand are huge fans of music! They make everything in Cleveland and provide tours of their distillery and whiskey tastings. In true Cleveland fashion, they have a creative spirit and are willing to push boundaries for positive results!
Haus of Sin
The multi-award-winning performer Bella Sin hails originally from Juarez, in the state of Chihuahua. Bella Sin is a proud Mexican-Immigrant non-binary individual who holds the honor of being named “One Of Cleveland's Most Interesting People 2011” along with the run running title of “Cleveland Burlesque Queen”. They are the owner of the long-running Cleveland Burlesque, which is where we first met Bella. Bella has worked as a professional makeup artist since 2005, and has trained in special-effects makeup, glamour, and theatrical stylings. Bella’s training is in foundation matching for BIPOC skins with extensive knowledge in product formulation. Bella inspects each product sold by Haus of Sin personally, and works with suppliers to ensure fair and ethical working conditions for the workers who create products for Haus of Sin. Bella Sin has graciously donated some of their cosmetic line to be raffled off on 10/7!

A staple in downtown Cleveland, the House of Blues is donating 3 pairs of tickets to upcoming shows: Boys Like Girls (10/21), Welshly Arms (11/25), and Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness (12/2).
Kind of Consistent
Riley Furey, founder of Kind of Consistent, was featured on season 3 of LoCLE Grown and has been a lover of underground music for many years. He started Kind of Consistent as a music blog in 2022 but has since expanded the brand to be a mantra that everyone can resinate with. Now, they put on shows and events with other artists, have a podcast and spread awareness of lesser known artists that you NEED to know more about. Kind of Consistent merch will be featured in a raffle basket this weekend, but if you can't wait, you can stay tuned for their next merch drop.

No Class, "Cleveland's Gayest Metal Bar", is a fun local spot in the Lakewood area, where you will always have a good time. We have seen a few shows that range from hip hop to viking death metal, and the atmosphere is always friendly and exciting. Emma, the owner, has donated one pass to a show of the winner's choice as well as No Class merch for LG Live!

In recent years, we have been noticing more and more that Cleveland brewery Saucy Brew Works is getting more in tune with the Cleveland music scene, creating special brews for local artists such as Chayla Hope, The Rosies, and Apostle Jones. Because of this, we reached out to see if they'd be interested in being a part of our event and they were more than excited to contribute! 10 Alarm Fire Engine Pizza Co.
As our event is the first weekend in October, our amazing friends at 10 Alarm Fire Engine Pizza have donated a special Spooky Szn'ed themed Boo Basket with lots of goodies to get you in the Halloween MOOD. 10 Alarm drives a firetruck with a wood burning oven that cooks authentic and delicious pizza.
